The History of MLEGENDS

From 2019-2021, The Minecraft Dragon to TechTricx, and the main three to the main five, MLEGENDS has been through a lot. Here’s a brief overview of what happened - written by two of the greatest storytellers on MLEGENDS, The TMD and The_Stickman.

The Beginning Era: When MLEGENDS began (mid-2019 - mid-2020)

At the beginning of 2020, The TMD started with a new update - but he soon took a break until March of the very same year, where he posted a good amount, but then took another break in June. He then came back in July, also changing his name from The Minecraft Dragon to The Molten Dragon.

The Golden Era: Some of the best times for MLEGENDS (mid-2020 - early 2021)

August and September 2020 rolled around, and The Scrib and The TMD decided to create the website known as The Writer’s Fort. It instantaneously gained 100 members on its first day and was a huge success to be remembered. The BookWorm soon joined the team, and “The Main Three” was established. The team contained authors The Bookworm, The TMD, and, finally, The Scrib. The team eventually became what it is known as today, the Main Team of MLEGENDS, which consists of the owners and co-owners of the site and such. TieGuyGaming and SupersonicCraziness eventually joined and, due to inside problems, the site was forced to relocate. The team moved from The Writer’s Fort to The TMD’s other site. MLEGENDS - which soon changed its name to the popular MLEGENDS HOME.

October through December of 2020 was when authors started to join and leave, but more notably, hit series’ like The War for Peace were created and introduced to the world. The BookWorm ended up leaving the team but was replaced by SupersonicCraziness, who took many breaks. The October and December events both also took place at this time.

The beginning of January started and The Scrib and The TMD came in contact with an author known as Lazy_Lightning, who changed EVERYTHING for MLEGENDS. Another author, VetraVortex, joined along with him. The team grew to ten members and more and more books and posts were being created. The MLEGENDS Team Channel was formed by The TMD, Lazy, and VetraVortex and, as of June 12th, 2021, sits at approximately 100 subscribers. The pacing was the same and many hit videos, books, and posts came out during this time. Some authors like The_StickMan made their debut. February 2021 had come and the world of MLEGENDS was experiencing immense growth. The YouTube channel would not stop growing, and the website even surpassed 1,000 members. Part of this success we owe to the sheer amount of dedication that The TMD, The Scrib, Lazy, and Supersonic put towards the site.

The Fall of MLEGENDS: Is MLEGENDS Falling Apart? (February - March 2021)

Fights were taking place. Drama was sweeping the face of MLEGENDS and we couldn’t do anything about it. We took a long break, due to jealousy inside of the site and hate comments pouring in. Lazy and The TMD started working more for the MLEGENDS Team Gaming (then known as MLEGENDS TEAM CHANNEL) and expanded its horizons further during this period. Just when we thought everything was over, something intense occurred.

The Return to MLEGENDS: The long-awaited return to the site (March- April 2021)

We had finally ended our break and a very notable character had joined the MLEGENDS Team, ALEGENDS - and The_StickMan also made his return. The main team grew very big and we were trying our hardest to make our comeback to MLEGENDS HOME, an insane one. New innovative ideas such as the Book Mashup gave us events to look forward to. New books and posts were being created by new and old authors alike, and it was pretty much the same as the January to February era.

The War with TechTricx: Our new competitor - monopolies are illegal, after all (April-May 2021)

This one most of you won’t know, as this was not revealed to the public, but today we’ll be revealing it. Before we start, we currently have nothing against TechTricx, and actually formed a new alliance with them that will be launching this August.

In April of 2021, an idea created by some of our friends caught our interest. The result would be a website known as TechTricx made for giving technological tips to people in need. They intended to resemble some sort of YouTuber, like Linus Tech Tips. So, The TMD and The Scrib helped them create a website using Wix, and they were very glad about what they had received - for free! But were they appreciative? Not really.

The TMD and The Scrib helped TechTricx create their site, but The TMD used the site as a tool. He was unintentionally using it as a way to advertise MLEGENDS. TechTricx was not happy with him smacking MLEGENDS all over their own independent site, so they were mad.

(MLEGENDS’ PERSPECTIVE)

TechTricx was not happy - but why? Sure, The TMD was putting MLEGENDS all over the site, but he did create the website for them. They shouldn’t have been what they were - infuriated, threatened, and ready for war. So, The TMD, Lazy, and ALEGENDS prepared themselves for war. However, some authors like The Scrib and The_StickMan were against this, with Scrib even starting an anti-war campaign and trying to socialize with the TechTricx team.

(What The TMD was thinking)

He was mildly infuriated, as he wasn’t there just to advertise the website, but to be a part of their team because he wanted to help expand the site’s horizons. The TechTricx team pointed out that he put MLEGENDS a little too much on the site, and he realized he made a mistake. But both parties made a couple more mistakes. TechTricx made The TMD, The Scrib, and Lazy their enemies. This was not good.

(What The Scrib was thinking)

Tech Tricx did kick Scrib and The TMD out, but they shouldn’t really have come to a hasty decision to go on a war. Scrib called upon The_Stickman to help him, devising a plan to make peace.

What happened next?

Well, there was so much that happened to both stop and continue the war. MLEGENDS and TechTricx both held peaceful debates to see everyone’s opinions. But one author currently known as The TMC was the reason for something unexpected to happen next. He joined MLEGENDS as TypiNinja/The Word Ninja, but soon joined TechTricx, MLEGENDS’ rivals. After joining TechTricx and the enmity going on between the two, he was forced to choose between the two teams. The TechTricx members wanted him to join a side, and being as threatening as they were, The TMC had to. He wanted to be a part of both teams, but everyone knew that wasn’t possible. So, The TMD and The Scrib gave him an easier choice.

The Merge: Would We Merge?

The “merge” was a plan that Scrib and TMD created. The plan was to combine MLEGENDS and TechTricx to become MLEGENDS TechTricx Group or something along those lines. The TMD was still mad at TechTricx for their unfair actions, but he still wanted this, as it would benefit both sides. A brief description of what the merge would be is that MLEGENDS would get 100% ownership of MLEGENDS, and TechTricx would get 100% ownership of Tech Tricx. The two teams would keep their roles but start to work together on projects. In a way, TechTricx would get independence.

The TMD, The Scrib, Lazy, (who had now joined the merge idea) and The TMC (formerly known as TypiNinja/The Word Ninja/TechJag) proposed the idea to TechTricx. Every single team member of TechTricx accepted this. Except for one…

TechTiger.

TechTiger, TechPanther, and TechDino had created TechTricx, and if they were going to merge with MLEGENDS, TechTiger would have to agree, but he refused the proposal. So the merge would not be happening. Unfortunately, The TMC had to decide what side to join immediately, and he joined TechTricx, becoming TechJag.

The Fall of TechTricx?

In early May of 2021, TechPanther was fed up with TechTricx, and ended up joining MLEGENDS. (However, she soon left MLEGENDS and returned to the other group.) The others were done with TechTiger declining everything. Even with all this conflict, MLEGENDS and TechTricx were finally at peace. But there was one more thing that appeared.

TechLegends

TechLegends was an idea similar to that of the merge that was initiated by The TMD, The Scrib, and The TMC. TechLegends will be a class hosted by TechTricx and MLEGENDS owners as teachers consisting of three teams. Red for MLEGENDS, blue for TechTricx, and purple for people looking to join both TechTricx and MLEGENDS.

The deal ended up getting through, and everyone agreed until late May. TechTiger was once again considering declining, but this time, TechTricx took it into their own hands, for there was a lot to lose if they did refuse. None of us know what’s going on with TechTiger right now, but he’s a really nice guy outside of this whole drama, so please don’t take him the wrong way.

Inner MLEGENDS During the TechTricx War (April-May 2021)

April was pretty much normal, but the team’s minds were turned more to school, the TechTricx war, and the book mashup rather than posts. April also went into planning the massive Spring Event on May 3rd for the MLEGENDS birthday. May was a little similar to the long break earlier this year, but a little different. The team lost interest in the MLEGENDS HOME website and post views were also declining. The only authors to post during this time were The_Stickman, Blue Lightning, and now LozzySis. Sadly they didn’t reach as many views as the team was expecting, making an average of THREE views per post compared to the old average of 100-200 just about a month earlier.

What Happens Now: The future for MLEGENDS (June-August 2021)

We’re on a break from school, and we’re ready to start working on MLEGENDS once again. We were still working on the YouTube Channel this whole time and will continue this summer along with working on the website. We left off on The XLEGENDS Part 1 Pre-Release 1 in early May so we’ll be continuing off there and be releasing XLEGENDS part 1, the basis for the future of the MLEGENDS website and the plan that will change MLEGENDS as we know it.

The TMD (What we did before we stopped):

We’ve stopped making posts. It’s been over a month since our last popular one and also our last post that you guys seemed to have viewed and enjoyed, made by our Head Co-Owner Scrib. We also had our MLEGENDS Birthday mashup on May 3rd along with the spring event and Book Mashup. After that, we had started working towards our YouTube and personal lives more, and we just stopped posting.

ALEGENDS (Why we stopped):

The reason that I and a lot of the MLEGENDS authors stopped posting, is that we started focusing on growing our YouTube. We also got bored of making books and posts on MLEGENDS HOME as we lost motivation. Another reason we stopped posting is that our personal matters and difficulties overshadowed working on this website. (such as school) we got busy in our personal matters that we had to stop posting and making books but for a while, The_Stickman, LozzySis, and BlueLightning are the ones who have been posting frequently.

The TMD (What we’re trying to do now):

We are trying our best to make the content we used to and I know, all of us have been taking so many breaks during the year and being so inconsistent, but we always try to fix it and we end up coming back to our MLEGENDS Home. So what we would like to do now is to start working more on our posts and move the book mashups to every two months so you can allow us to make better quality books and put them consistently. As long as we get a decent amount of views on our stand-alone books by authors like The_Stickman, we’ll continue posting them.

ALEGENDS (What we’re doing in the future):

We will be starting to work on the website more than we have been doing. We will work on the YouTube, the website, and the Twitch (which we’ll be starting to work on now) all equally so you can get each amount of content on whichever platform you enjoy us on!

Lazy (Arguments and Anger):

So while we were gone we have been through many arguments, almost shutting down the website, and firing many of the authors. We worked past these fights by mostly playing Minecraft, but sometimes they don’t resolve. Many arguments have formed around not being able to talk to each other for dumb reasons, calling people names in the group chat, and last of all… not being nice. All we want to do is have fun and make sure you guys enjoy and have fun with us! To be honest, these fights and arguments are one of the reasons the website has been on pause. That is it for this part, enjoy the rest!

Lazy (MLEGENDS content):

So we are back in business as you know if you read the parts above and I would like to confirm a statement. (if you haven’t read it, go read the parts before this) We are not going to slack on MLEGENDS and we will try our BEST to give out the best and most content we can. Summer break is coming up for me and it already has for everyone else on the team, so we can give out more content!
