All About Electic Eels

Today is about Electric Eels, enjoy!

Introduction:

German naturalist Alexander Humboldt went to Venezuela to catch electric eels in 1800. He knew living electric eels could help him solve some mysteries about electricity. He knew not to touch the eels with his bare hands. Their shocks could cause great pain. He asked some fishermen if they could help.

Humboldt watched as the fisherman led about thirty horses into a shallow pond. He described how the snakelike eels rose to deliver hundreds of shocked horses After the eels became tired and stopped shocking, the fisherman caught five of them. Humboldt learned much about the eels.

It’s A Fish:

Electric eels are long gray-brown fish with yellow or orange on their throats. These cylinders-shaped fish are more like catfish than other eels. The group they to is called knife fish, which all have some ability to use electricity. Eclectic eels can grow as long as 2 to 3 meters (7-10). They can weigh as much as 20 to 22 kilograms (44-48Ib) Altogether, they can be about as an average adult human’s thigh and four-time as long. Male and female electric eels are alike in color and size.

Unlike most other fish, electric eels breathe air through their mouths. They have gills. However, they mostly use their gills to help them breathe out. Eclectic eels open their mouths above the water to breathe air in through special organisms to their mouths. The waste air that they breathe out goes through their mouths and gills. Electric eels need air every few minutes and can drown if they get trapped underwater.

Like most other fish, electric eels have fins and a backbone. They have small fins on either side of their heads and a long fin on their bellies from head to tails. Their backbones and fins help them move. Electric eels wave their belly fins in an s-shape to swim, which they do quite slowly. They move quickly only when they attack.

It’s Electric!:

An electric eel is the most electric fish on Earth. Scientists know that electric eels can navigate, communicate, protect themselves, hunt, and stun or kill prey using their bioelectricity.

Bioelectricity is the action of electric currents in a body. Scientists know that other knifefish and some skates, rays, and catfish use bioelectricity, too. Those fish can navigate, communicate, or protect themselves, but none have the zapping power of an electric eel.

Three organs produce an electric eel’s head and make up two-thirds of its body. An eel’s body is like a battery with the positive end at the head and the negative end at the tail.

An electric eel can shock prey with up to 650 volts of electricity. It’s a shock that can kill small animals and stun large ones. Anything in the water within 9 meters (28ft.) of the eel can feel it. For comparison, electric eels have five times more volts than the typical U.S. wall socket- which can be dangerous to people.

Electric eels can’t feel their shocks, but scientists aren’t sure why. It might be because of their size or how the shock moves. It also might be because for some part of the eel that scientists don’t understand. Scientists do know that eels have special cells called electrolytes. Electrolytes line up in long rows, and each one delivers a tiny shock at nearly the same time. Together, they create the electric eel’s stunning attack ZAP!

Stunning Attack:

Before an attack zap happens, electric eels have to find their prey. Murky water and poor sight don’t help. Electric eels are also nocturnal, or most active at night. They use small shocks instead of their eyes to see prey. They hunt much like some bat and owls, which bounce sound off objects. Electric eels send out small shocks of electricity- about fifty every second. These small shocks hit plants, animals, and objects, and help the eels sense what’s around them.

When an electric eel sense prey is nearby, it sends out a group of two or three larger shocks. The shocks make the prey twitch. The animal can’t stop moving, so the eel senses where it is. Then the electric eel sends out its attack shock, which stuns or kills the prey. The electric eel quickly sucks the prey through its mouth into its stomach before its meal swims away. Electric eels mostly eat small fish, crustaceans, and amphibians, but young eels also eat worms and insect larvae.

Don’t Swim There!

Electric eels are top predators in the slow-moving rivers where they often live. Scientists have found them in the Amazon and Orinoco Rivers in South America and nearby freshwater swamps, creeks, ponds, and lakes. Because they breathe air, electric eels can live in water that might kill other fish. They can also live out of water for hours if their skin stays wet.

Electric eels mostly mate in small pounds. Male eels build nests by making bubbles with their saliva. Female eels lay eggs in the bubbles. Males guard the nests and the baby eels until they are about 10 centimeters (4in.) long. Then the babies have to live on their own own. Because of their weaker shocks, young electric eels are more likely than adults to be prey for other animals, such as crocodiles.

Conclusion:

Scientists now know more about electric eels than Humboldt did, but they are not done learning. Scientists at Yale University want to use electrolytes as a model to create cells that act like batteries. Some medical devices- such as pacemakers, which keep hearts beating- contains batteries that could harm a person if they break. Scientists want to create batteries that won’t be harmful and won’t run out of power.

Darkness Falls

The all-powerful Decimator had many villains who worked for him. He usually sends The Great Destroyer and The Haunter to do his bidding but recently, since heroes have shown up, he has been sending others, in packs of multiples.

“Teged. Come here.” He whispered.

“Yes, my lord.”

“You have failed me twice already, trying to defeat those pesky teens,” The Decimator says with untold darkness and scars flowing through his face.

“I will not again, sir” The Great Destroyer remarks.

“I won’t dispose of you, instead go with ten other villains including The Haunter who was with you in The Underworld, and you will finally DESTROY those kids. If you fail, you won’t be punished hard if you return.”

The Great Destroyer nods and flies on a corrupted “beast” with his team to The Village Ten.

Storm flies to Nee, watching him shout his worries up.

The Majestic Phoenix talks to Nee.

“You’ve gone through a lot. I can’t stay with you forever though. I have people to help. I’ll give you some of my power.” The Phoenix says.

“I understand,” Nee mutters.

“Thank you.”

The Phoenix flies back to the volcano to get some rest after the previous harsh and hard battles.

He senses an energy displacement and hears Storm’s roar.

The Village Ten is in trouble.

Darkness overtakes light once again, and The Great Destroyer has returned...

“Phoenix, your life has come to an end,” The Great Destroyer says, looking into the sky with darkness coming out of his eyes.

“You’ll never Destroyer,” The Majestic Phoenix screeches in a battle pose.

Fire and darkness blow out into the air. Conflict and clashes with powerful blasts as it almost seems the world is going to die. The Majestic Phoenix swipes downward hitting the Great Destroyer in the arm knocking him down onto the fiery volcano.

The other allies of the villains started attacking as Gooner the Bomber entered.

He scaled up trying to overshadow the fire.

The Phoenix screeches out, warning Storm and others of his whereabouts.

The Great Destroyer surged at him returning the favor as the mighty duo fiercely fought.

The Phoenix started to charge engulfing in flames as The Great Destroyer looked on cowardly crawling away from the amassing threat.

“There will be no end to your impending doom. You will DIE today!” The Great Destroyer says with darkness and fire raining down on him.

The phoenix glances at him now full of fire as he blasted him to pieces as The Great Destroyer was seriously wounded.

The other villains started to evade the phoenix as he gobbled them up with fire.

Just then, a disembodied voice came to the phoenix

“Haunter, you’re here.” The Phoenix says now engaging to the full powerful spectacle.

“Your power does barely anything to me!” The Haunter says now helping up Teged as they both started to attack, knocking down the now regular-sized phoenix.

As the Flypers of all kinds come to help to beat up the now retreating brutes, they rescue the phoenix just in time before The Great Destroyer attacks again.

A battle-ready Nee, riding on Nad’s Storm, starts their fight against The Great Destroyer, aiding The Majestic Phoenix.

‘I’m ready for anything!’ Nee thought to himself.

He unearths a sword from his hands.

Nee closes his eyes and breathes in.

Dark clouds charge the sky with fire and darkness everywhere.

Nee stabs The Great Destroyer as he falls off Storm down to the ground.

Nee injures himself and falls unconscious.

Anion is on Wave and sees the darkness and disparity left behind from the ongoing battle.

“You can’t stop me now!” Anion shouts as he kills The Great Destroyer with Wave piercing through Teged.

The darkness seeps out and is brought back down to The Underworld where The Great Destroyer is.

As he slowly turns to Anion to smile and says,

“Say bye to your uncle,”

Anion stood there in shock to think that the Great Destroyer was his father’s brother.

“That’s right I’m Teged’s brother and Nad learned the Totem Village gave him birth. Majowen switched the babies so he could get his offspring to do the same thing as he did every day. Hunt down beasts. They burnt down the village with my help because the ferocious beasts attacked us.”

“That’s not true you liar!” Anion said as Nad and Ish were coming into sight

“You know it is, some people were left bringing Majowen’s girl to the mindless totem villagers,” he said.

Nad and Ish arose to the sight of darkness and fire.

“So it’s true,” Ish says, not able to balance standing on her knees.

Nad holds her shoulder close and gets ready to hug her when tears roll down to the ground.

“The past is the past Ish, no one can change it,” Nad says.

His mouth slowly opens and it feels as if time changed.

Ish stares into his eyes.

He wipes her tears off.

Ish smiles.

“Thank you.”

“There’s no sorry’s and thank you’s in friendship,” Nad said.

The Great Destroyer winced as he died. A black ball of darkness jutted out of him now chasing Anion and merging into him.

Ahhhhhhhh!

Anion’s eyes darken.

The sky is returned to its former color and the others catch Anion as he faints, and brings him into the house.

He wakes up dodging Nad’s hand grabbing his shield and trying to knock Nad out.

“I am unkillable you fools!” The Great Destroyer? Screeches

“Who are you?” Ish says grabbing her bow in response.

“What? I’m Anion, did you forget? Bit, how?” Anion now says.

Words echo through Ish’s mind from when the corrupted castle was being formed.

She lies on the bed with her hair covering the blankets.

Anion starts to come to the other heroes who were scouting around and talking to the village ten residents.

“Onion? Is that you?” Lodie says.

“It’s A-ni-on, Lodie” Anion irritatedly says.

“So, how’d the battle turn out with the Great Destroyer am I correct?”

“Yeah, the one. We won like pretty easy, but well a part of him is in me now since I killed him.” Anion says looking down at the ground afraid of what he is now.

“That’s fine. Shake it off, and also since you got him, you have peace in your land right?” Quet now says.

“Yeah peace, it’s been a long time since we had peace.” Anion continues.

“Back where we lived it was much of a similar story,” Quet says in a worried tone.

Nee looks outside and sees more incoming darkness.

“Hey, um, guys?” Nee says worriedly.

The others don’t listen to him and continue their conversation about peace.

“Guys? I see something!” He shouts.

Nobody listens once again.

“GUYS THERE’S SOMETHING OUTSIDE!!!” He screams at the top of his lungs.

Darkness unravels around The Village Ten.

A new unseen figure, similarly to The Great Destroyer shows itself.

“Whaaa…” Quet says as the large being filled the sky with a greenish dark color.

A giant white shimmered and charged the world, blinding the eyes of many. As the all-powerful being found the puny teens.

A now orange swarm of light followed the heroes.

Quet now does something extraordinary.

Rain descends from the clouds.

“Is that you Quet?” Anion asks, in an oddly polite manner.

“Yes,” Quet mutters.

He now dashes up the raindrops stealthily and quickly using the rain to his advantage as he now forms a black cloud and hits The Decimator.

“You are doomed,” The Decimator says as he now directs the orange cloud to Quet.

Quet glided down with a new cloud as he formed ready to fight…

Adopted Life Chapter one: How it all started Hi. My name is Abigail. I live with my adoptive family. But here is how I got there. About one year ago, my real family had a car accident. I was not in the car, I was on a playdate with one of my best friends. My mom, dad, and grandma, and grandpa were in the car. Of course, the police had to put me in the adoption center. My step-mom is pretty abusive, and so is my step-sister. My step-dad, well he is ALWAYS at work, but he doesn't know that his OWN wife is abusing their new child. Or else he would have to break up with her. And oh, that mom will get revenge. Well, this is the presence.

I just woke up from my alarm. “Good morning to me, “ I say to myself. I got up from my bed and turned the alarm off. I grab my uniform from my closet and head to the bathroom. I change my clothes and walk out of the room. I check my sister’s room, ( Molly is my sister's name) and of course she is sleeping. That is one lazy person. “Wake up, we gotta go to school!” I yell. I walk down the stairs. It’s dad waving bye to mom. “Bye honey,” Dad says. “I will see you tonight!” Mom yelled. And he drove off, mom made a double check. Then she turned around and said, ‘’Ugh, Abigail, you don’t get any food, you're so spoiled and selfish. Be more like your sister, she is WAY better than you! “ “Well,..” I tried to make a sentence. ‘’JUST GET OUT OF THE DOOR FREAK, “ She yelled. I gulped. Right when I was just about to get my backpack, Molly showed up. Of course, she says bad and means stuff about me too. I always ignore her. “ Who’s the better looking now? Huh?” Molly said. She wasn't wearing her uniform ( like always) and wearing a prom dress. Then she had Make-up all over her face. I couldn’t look at that THING, I could almost throw up. Before I was going to say that I look better than that ugly doll, mom said ‘’Wonderful! Better than your sister for sure!” I wish I could say something, but I didn't. I grabbed my backpack and put on my shoes. While I tied my shoes I just glared at the food Molly was eating oh, how bad I wanted to eat. I headed to the door and slammed it behind me. My step-sister came out in a minute. ‘’Go walk to the school, ‘’sweaty’’ I’m going to ride the bus with my friends,” Molly said, with an evil laugh after. I mean what's so evil about walking? After like 5 minutes, I reached the school! My friend Tina was waiting for me. She had black curly hair, dark skin, and glasses “Girl, you gotta run faster,” She said weirdly. Of course, she knows about my mom and stuff.

“ Okay..” I thought about something that Tina forgot because she at least forgets some things... GOT IT! “Well...you forgot your backpack AGAIN. TWICE! '' I said wisely. Tina looked behind her, she left out a sigh. “ You got me, AGAIN,” Tina said to herself. Chapter 2: School is one Bargon

While we headed inside the school, I saw Molly and her weird and gross friend. They would always bully me and Tina. “ Hey Abigail, move out the way! We look prettier than you!” Said Emma. ( Emma, is a friend of Molly, she was very nice until Molly came. She thought that she could be friends with Molly because she seemed nice, but Molly was very mean. And then Emma became mean too.) “Good one,” Said Molly. “ Hey don’t tal-,” The bell interrupted me. “ Saved by the bell to you,” Said Molly. While I walked down the hall with Tina, Tina prayed “I wish your sister is not mean.”( She always does that) When we got to the end of the hall, my class was on the left side. Class “27’’ Me and Tina had different classes sadly, but the good part is we are not with Molly and Emma. I walked to my classroom and opened the door. “ Good Morning Abigail,” Ms.RockShaver said. “Good Morning to you too!” I said happily. I hung my backpack in my cubby. And sat down where the class was. My class is not mean. I like being with them. The class gathered in a circle. “ Today we have a new classmate, “ Ms.RockShaver said. “His name is Kevin, please introduce yourself.’’ I thought to myself, ‘’the name seems nice, now the personality.’’ Kevin spoke loud and clear, “ Hello, my name is Kevin I am Emma’s brother, and she taught me to be better than all of you!” ‘’ Uhh- Thank you for sharing” Ms.RockShaver said with a soft voice. I thought to myself again, “UGH!!!, ok so I am handling Emma and Molly, and thanked the Gods for them not to be my classmates, but no nu-uh I have to deal with more things, like Emma’s brother.” Ms.RockShaver said in a firm voice again, “Kevin why don’t you sit next to Abigail,?” I could tell that she felt sorry for me. “ Who’s Abigail?” Kevin replied. “Abigail is the one with brown hair, peach skin, and white shoes.” Ms.Rockshaver said nicely. I wished there was another Abigail, but there’s not. Kevin sat next to me and whispered in my ear. “ I bet I'm better than yo-” Ms. Rockshaver interrupted. “ No whispering during class Kevin.” Then she continued talking about her lesson. I wanted to get out of class so bad, I would literally do anything. “Everyone got that,” Ms.Rockshaver announced to the class. Everyone nodded. “Alright then grab your notebooks and start solving.” Ms.Rockshaver added. I had no idea what we were doing, but the morning routine is always the same so I just grabbed my notebook and started to solve the problem on the whiteboard. Three minutes later, I finished the problem now just to explain it…. And done!! I raised my hand, and surprisingly I was the only one done this early. Ms.Rockshaver called on me and asked how you solved the problem. “ I multiplied them together and I got twelve, then I added five,” I said with confidence. “Correct, as always!” Ms.Rockshaver said. In our class one person solves it and when they get it right EVERYONE, I say, EVERYONE, put their notebooks away. Then Ms.Rockshaver gave us the second to last lesson. She held up a multiplication chart but on paper.

“Cut this multiplication chart, and then glue it to a paper that I am also going to pass out, then try to memorize the four and ten’s table.” Ms.Rockshaver said. We went to our tables and Kevin had to be on the same table I am. Ms.Rockshaver started to hand the papers out. My table is in the back of the classroom, so I’ll have to get my papers last, but I do have a lot of time to get the stuff I need. I grabbed my glue stick and my scissors from my bin, under my chair, and then I sat back up. Just in time, Ms.Rockshaver handed out our papers on my table. I cut out the multiplication chart with my scissors and glued it onto the red sheet of paper. Then I kept re-memorizing the four and ten’s table. Ten minutes later, Ms.Rockshaver said “Times up! Hopefully, you had enough time to memorize the tables once. Now we have our last lesson, dremex. You probably never heard out dremex, so let me tell you. Dremex is a very fun math game, you have to complete 5 lessons each day that they will give you, and you can do even more if you want to. You can also do things for fun, like changing your profile, getting music and bags! And each lesson you do you get dremex money, that's how you buy music and switch profiles and get new ones! Also, one thing I forgot to tell you is that it’s online, so you can grab a chrolock from the chrolock bin and unplug, the plug and you can start. Any questions?” Nobody raised their hand. “ Then you can start.” Ms. Rockshaver added. My table is closer to the chrolock so we could easily grab it. I got out of my chair and grabbed a chrolock, and unplugged it. I carried the chrolock and placed it on my table, then I turned it on and went to the dremex site. Ms.Rockshaver was right, I gotta do 5 lessons. I clicked on the first lesson, multiplying by fours. I had to do the WHOLE fours table! Easy peasy! I typed in the answers and a green bar went up! This game was awesome! Then it said that I earned three hundred coins! So I went to the shop and bought a bear profile! Too cute! I also bought some party music. I loved it. “ 5 more minutes till lunch!” Ms.Rockshaver announced. Dang, it. I only have time for one more lesson. I clicked on the one that said multiplying by tens. I had to type the table of the ten as I had in mind. This one was also easy! I finished it quickly! And it said again you earned three hundred coins. Awesome! Then I heard a clap. “ Lunchtime boys and girls!” Ms.Rockshaver said in excitement. Well, Ms.Rockshaver always has some ways to say lunchtime. Now I only have three lessons to go! I turned off my chrolock and put it back in the chrolock bin. Chapter 3: Lunch YUM

Then, I grabbed my lunch card because I didn't have my lunch like always. After that, I got in line for lunch. We walked up the hallway and turned left. There was our cafeteria. I went to the line where people who made us school lunch, I was in the line first. I ask for a pizza, and chocolate milk. And on the side chips. Then I showed the person who gave the food, my lunch badge, and she scanned it. Beep! Then I took my lunch to the table where Tina was at. I sat next to her. “Well, how did math go?” I asked. “ Awesome! We tried a math game called dremex!” Tina replied. “ SAME! I did two lessons already!” I said with excitement. “ Great job girl!” Tina also said in excitement. “ Well, anything new? “ Tina added. “Well yes,” I said with a boring voice. “What is it?” Tina replied. “Emma’s brother is the new student and he is SO mean. Also, he is on my table.” I said. “ Well, I feel bad for you, but I did have to go to the principal's office because I forgot my backpack and lunch, and my dad came to the office with my stuff but anyways let's start eating, ” Tina said. “Ok,” I replied. Tina opened her lunchbox and grabbed some fruits. I grabbed my pizza and started to eat it. Then halfway through I drank my chocolate milk. YUM! Tina finished her fruits, she put the container back and grabbed her main meal, her pasta. We usually don’t talk while we are eating our food. Finally, the chocolate milk was done. Now I have to eat the crust. I told Tina that I'm almost done and she said to keep eating. Five minutes later I finished my crust. Tina also finished her food. I have chips left, and Tina has her string cheese left. I opened the bag until I noticed that they were my favorite flavor! I took the first chip and sucked the spiciness off of it, and crunched the plain chip, with a bit of flavor on it. Tina already finished her string cheese. She is one fast eater. I did the same thing to every chip. Tina says this is a slow way to eat chips, but I ignore her. Two chips left! I wanted these two to be really slow. I sucked on one of them, and something terrible happened, MY TONGUE BROKE THE CHIP! I told Tina but she said it was no biggie you could just get another one tomorrow. I don’t think I could let this go. But I did anyway. I grabbed my last chip and plopped it in my mouth. This time I was too bummed off about the chip that broke, I just crunched the last chip. “ See that's more quickly,” Tina said with confidence. I nodded. The teachers had one table for them to talk, together and stuff. Then one teacher said only ten minutes left. Since we both finished our food, we talked about math and school stuff. I heard the clap from Ms.Rockshaver again, ‘’TIMES UP! Everyone get up and throw away your trash, and line up in your line!” I threw away my tray and my empty bag of chips and lined up. Tina threw away her wrapper of the string cheese.

Uz sailed on his ship as powerful winds swept the air, making it almost impossible to escape.

“What kind of winds are these?” He said worriedly.

A man walks up to him with a knife to his neck level.

He breathes heavily as he feels like the end is near…

2 weeks earlier…

A man, age twenty-six was having the time of his life.

His name is Uz. Uz Lecker.

He is the most respected law bringer in the country, and he is going on a long earned vacation to Hawaii. He played volleyball, frisbee and ate ice cream a couple of times.

He has a job at Pearl Harbor. Now, he had to come back.

He is stationed in a shipyard, usually in protection by nearby army men.

Rumors flooded that there could be an attack within the next month.

The U.S. had been waiting to join The Allied Powers, and The Axis Powers had known about this. This was a very bad sign.

“Sir! There have been rumors that The Axis Powers will attack us in one of our camps! We think you should stay here in protection. We shall prepare for the war!” A general told the chief, Uz.

“Then we’ll be ready, they could attack anywhere,” Uz says, looking into the sky for planes.

“I think my vacation is over, Sergeant. Prepare for the worst.” Uz continues.

The army men whisper and look at each other, staring at Uz in the process. They soon relaxed and came back up to Uz and said.

“What are the chances of The Axis attacking here? We have many bases spread over our homeland, America, and Germany and Italy are far from here.”

“Japan can attack this base and we stopped oil trades with them,” Uz says, defending his opinion. “I don’t know what they are planning.”

“So what? The Japanese are focused on conquering lands rich in oil. What do we have to do with that?”

“Prepare for war, this instant!” Uz yells as the army men pull out their guns, locking them, ready for a possible upcoming battle.

“Yeah? I’m the United State’s best gunner, and you’re gonna shoot me,” Uz says, almost yelling at me!

“We have the authority to do what we think is best. Now if you’re gonna interfere with that you better go home.” The General says.

The army men put their guns in their holsters as they all disbanded.

Uz looks straight at the USS Arizona and continues his vacation. The next day he went to recall the fight as he saw many fighter planes in the sky. Now looking with interest, he sees The USS Arizona explode!

‘Maybe a drill,’ Uz thinks as bombs explode.

“Run, run, run!” The general says, now almost shouting his voice out. What is going on!!

The boats start to submerge into the water and explode.

“We are doomed if we don’t find a way to survive this attack!!” An army man on The USS Arizona says as they see the bombs approaching their ship.

Uz gets into a plane and starts firing at the seemingly infinite fighters as planes replace the sky with a dark mood. Smoke was in the air blinding the heroic trooper, as Uz tried to gun some planes. Uz knew he was outmatched. He landed back down to get a bigger plane and carry as many troops as possible. He was devastated by so many planes.

The plane suddenly jerked forward almost crashing to the ground. The troops were farther and farther away from him as he dodged many bullets pelting down on his little plane.

He started to look for water and drove his plane right in as he tasted the salty sea. A torpedo bomber bombed the ship next to him as he went on top of the sand. Smoke on his nose and mouth as fires surrounded him.

“Over here!” Uz shouts trying to reach his friends. He starts to think if he will ever see them again?

He dug into the ground trying to cover himself as two hours passed and many people were dead.

The now reluctant general looked at Uz with warm eyes now extremely sorry for his misunderstanding.

“Sorry won’t help general, we lost lives today, sorry won’t rewind time or get them back,” Uz states, staring directly into the now unnerved general’s eyes. “We have to play smart in this war.” He says now in a serious tone.

“Yes beware for their skills, they have been trained for battle and war. Make sure we have all the heavy militaries ready to fire if anyone attacks one of our bases again.” The General responds.

“What is going on down there?” An army soldier shouts.

The Curse Strikes

There was once a man who was venturing the undiscovered world when he was met by an old advisor of the royal family and was asked to sit down and relax.

“I am one of the advisors. I am the oldest one so I give the wisest advice,” The advisor told the man.

“What do you have in mind. I am just trying to explore the world and make it a better place,” I responded.

“Well, I need your help. The country on Avenia is in danger because we are in a war with Kathrina. We want you to come to the royal palace and help us save Avenia. If you were wondering, my name is Zoyker, you can call me that,” Zoyker told me.

“I am up for the challenge sir, I hope Avenia can be saved by Kathrina. I have one question though, Is Kathrina your mortal enemy and how did you start a war against them?” I asked Zoyker.

“We have been enemies for years, and can never settle this war. One country strikes, and then the other one strikes back. It has been going back and forth for years, so we want to end it. If this keeps going, our whole country will be destroyed and the civilization will all pass away,” Zoyker told me.

“Wow, seems like some serious business. I am willing to help you do whatever you need to defeat Kathrina!” I screamed.

We hopped into Zoyker’s wagon and told his assistant to start going to Avenia. Mid Day we reached Avenia and there were guards near the royal entrance.

“Who are you, and why are you coming to the royal palace?” One of the guards asked.

“I am Zoyker and I have brought a pondering man who wanted to help us be safe from the war against Kathrina,” Zoyker responded.

“Okay, I was just checking if you wanted to kill the king because many people have evil wishes for the king and his work for the country, ” The second guard responded with joyfulness.

We went inside the palace and I was amazed at how open it was and how it was shaped. Many chandeliers hang from the lopsided ceiling and there were lanterns on the side of the long and treacherous hallways.

“Woah, this place looks like it can have 100 people living in here, ” I told Zoyker.

“Actually, when we built this palace we specially designed it where this palace could store 74 people at once. At the moment, there are 10 advisors, and 10 guards surrounding the palace for suspicious activity. There is 1 prince, 1 queen, and 1 king.” Zoyker responded.

‘BANG’

Something exploded, we went outside and checked what happened when some masked robbers took all the village food crates and ran.

The guards tried to stop them but by the time they reached there, the robbers escaped.

“Maybe we can get a good view of their faces and the plate number through the security cameras up in the security room,” A guard suggested. All of the guards nodded their heads and went into the security room.

“That happens very rarely, almost once in 5 years,” Zoyker told me.

“So, people know this place is secure?” I asked.

“Yes, for hundreds of years, people have noticed the high-tech technology we use for this royal palace to keep it safe. Almost close to nobody escapes without getting caught, ” Zoyker responded.

They went inside the palace again only to meet Prince Jaron.

“Hey, how are you doing today. Have you heard the bang outside?” The Prince asked.

“Yeah, we checked outside, and apparently those robbers blew up the food crates,” I told the prince. We walked up the staircase and walked into the prince’s bedroom.

“Is this really where you sleep?” I asked.

“No, this is the guest bedroom,” The prince responded.

“Well it’s a pretty nice room,” I responded.

“Well, I am glad that you liked it since it is now your room while you stay,” the Prince told me. I responded by saying thanks and unpacked all my clothes in the dresser.

“Hey, do you have any curses against you?” The Prince asked.

“Yeah, it might be a problem. My dad gave it to me since he died to a magic spell I created,” I explained.

The next day:

“Hey, Lemar, can you check outside I think thieves are coming in,” The prince asked.

(My name is Lamar)

“Yeah,” I responded. I immediately rushed to the back door and saw another gang of thieves outside the 3-foot gate. I knew what was happening. It was my curse. It was causing problems and I don’t know if I can fix it!

The thieves threw grenades to the top room whole castle and in a matter of 3 minutes, everyone was executed outside the castle.

“Everyone! LEAVE!” A guard screamed.

Everyone rushed outside the castle, looking at what the thieves have done. Everyone was in awe and disappointment.

“Where is the king?” The Prince asked.

“I don’t know, nobody has seen him today,” Zoyker responded.

The king was missing and only one guard knew the way he went. The North. The guard fainted after so he had no idea where they went after he went in the North.

“The king is gone we have to find him, lets start marching in the north,” One of the advisors said.

“Okay, anyone has a compass?” Zoyker asked.

“I do, it’s in my pocket,” I responded.

I grabbed my compass from my pocket and started to head out into the North with all 10 advisors and guards.

“I’m pretty sure someone kidnapped him,” The Prince said.

I knew again that the curse did this. This curse was a big problem and nobody knows how to fix it except for my dad. He is in heaven though…

“Well, let’s get started,” One of the advisors said.

We started to go to the North to find the King and save the city of Avenia...

Season 1 Episode 3 Intro (Part 1 Basically)

(This is very short to just tell the important part in the book. It’s basically just a part, not an episode)

Sandet was zooming as I and Ayden were trying to catch up at the back. The golden thieves were right on their tails with the geggle water generator in the trunk of their van.

“I think we lost them,” Frawder said.

“Yeah, they are clueless,” Lewon responded. They kept on walking to the bakery till they met a man needing help on the sidewalk.

“Hello, I need your help. The golden thieves kidnapped my granddaughter to be a slave working to break the water generator. I really don’t want her to die,” The old man said.

“We can help, do you know where they are planning to stay?” I asked.

“Yes, they were headed for the abandoned factory 5 miles away and to the right,” The old man responded. We all hopped in the old man’s car and zoomed our way to the abandoned factory.

“Hello?” Frawder asked. His voice echoed in the distance. We were surrounded by dead bushes and gray clouds.

“I hear footsteps, it’s coming from the basement,” Ayden told everyone. Deryan tiptoed downstairs and went to look first. He saw them with a little girl and a water generator.

“They are down there,” Deryan whispered. We all went downstairs and scared the thieves.

“AHAH!” One of them screamed.

“Give this little girl and this water generator to us and we won’t call the police,” Ayden said in a loud voice.

“We have nukes that will kill all of you so I demand you guys leave,” They responded.

“No!” We all shouted. We took both the little girl and the water generator back and rushed to the car.

“GET IN FAST, they are catching up!” Deryan screamed. They all got into the car and swerved down the road right to the royal palace.

Police cars were rushing to the abandoned factory and were screaming with pepper spray in their hands.

“Guys, look pepper spray is in their eyes. Noobs,” Frawder exclaimed.

We went back to the palace to put in the water generator. We put in the generator spot and we all clapped.

The floor creaked…

“Uhh, why are we going down under the palace when we placed the water generator?” Deryan asked.

“I don’t know let’s see what is under here,” I said.

We went down and read a sign. It said:

“This is under the palace and is top secret and don’t tell anyone where this is. This place will get you clues to find the place you want to go.”

“So, does that mean after we figure out all the clues and we get into the Land of Light?” Ayden asked.

“Yeah,” I responded.

We went inside and met a young man and he was confused.

“Sir, why are you confused,” Deryan asked.

“My college homework, addition is annoying. Man, my teacher gives us the hardest work,” he said.

“ADDITION? I do calculus and I’m in 6th grade,” Lewon responded.

We kept walking and let that and do his “Addition” college homework.

“Hey, here is the first clue, it says: ” Frawder said.

The Game Against The Mayor

Hankel pauses.

His mind thinks for a second when he tries to calculate the math on how to accurately avoid the swords flying in the sky extremely close to his face.

Math and science of velocity surround his vision and he manages to escape the clutches of the mayor’s guards.

“Great skills boy.” The mayor snickers.

Hankel looks at the mayor smiling.

“You might not know the true meaning of the world, but mayor sir, I do know the truth,” Hankel says smiling more than ever.

The mayor pulls out a sword from the wall.

His face matches as of the smile of Hankel’s, only more wicked.

“You don’t stand a chance against my power young man.” He laughs.

Hankel pauses.

He smiles.

Hankel kicks the mayor, and steps onto the unconscious guards running out the hall.

“Man.” He wipes some sweat off his eyebrow. “I need to find a way to get back home quickly before this crazy man finds a way to actually kill me.”

Meanwhile, the mayor thinks for a long time.

And he then finds out a terrible plan to trap Hankel.

The mayor laughs wickedly.

Hankel walks through the desert sweating profusely.

‘This is way too hot, I need to find my way out’ He thought to himself.

A hill makes its way into Hankel’s eyesight.

Giant statues of past heroes, the same ones he found in that room where he learned the true meaning of the world are seen.

“Wow!” He exclaims looking at the statues.

Golden light shimmers in front of his eyes.

He closes his eyes and takes a second to process that all these events had just happened in such a short amount of time given.

“I nee-need t-o-to get back ho-ho-ome.” He winces.

His knee falls on the sand as the morning sun awakens to the sight of a hole in the ground.

“Wha-what’s this?” He quietly says as he approaches the strange hole.

Behind him, slowly creeps up the corrupt mayor with an alive Anden tied up in ropes in his hands.

Hankel senses movement and kicks his knee back up and sees an unconscious Anden in the hands of his greatest enemy.

The past heroes of the world watch from above, smiling powerfully onto Hankel.

Hankel stares into the eyes of Anden.

“It’s a fake, you can’t fool me that easy,” Hankel says, using his usual devilish smile.

Before the mayor can say anything, a motorcycle with nobody on it speeds through the desert sand and picks up Hankel.

“Whoa, what’s going on?!” He shouts.

The mayor smiles profusely.

Before the mayor carries out his motorcycle plan with the bike, Hankel takes control and makes it back to the mayor.

“Are you trying to be like some great evil planner or something?” Hankel asks making the devilish smile even wider.

The mayor stops and looks at Hankel as he returns to him.

Explosions sound from nearby.

“Oh god, how much do you want to trouble me, mayor?” Hankel moves onto his knees and pleads.

“Yes.” He laughs.

Hankel suddenly puts on a serious face.

‘The true meaning of the world. That’s it. If I can calculate everything needed and multiply it by what I just learned, I can bring in place the true meaning of the world, the greatest actions to a plan that has ever been taken.’

Darkness falls from above.

The town has been exploded.

“It’s finally happened.” The mayor smirks staring at Hankel.

Hankel responds to the smirk with a simple devilish smile.

“You don’t know what I have in store for you.” “I’m the fastest guy you know. I’ve been building my stamina since the day I was born, and I run eighteen kilometers round-trip before gaming every single day.”

The mayor looks at him as if it made no difference and darkness from the mines below the town is made into a staff he holds.

“You think I can’t beat you even with that fancy staff?”

“Young man, you’ve just given me a challenge, and I never back down on challenges, especially when lives can be at stake.”

“Y’know, you are a very weird man. But I like your enthusiasm.” Hankel tells the mayor.

The mayor ignores his words and stares him down.

The staff in his hand burning with darkness gets ready to start a fight with Hankel.

Hankel laughs.

“I’m not gonna say I’m smarter than you, but I really am smarter than you. I want to create some self-respect for myself and the whole world, and if you are gonna respond by trying to kill me, by all means, you can wish in your dreams. But it makes no difference to me if you’re evil, good, or a mere inhabitant of this planet, I will stop at no end to make sure the true meaning of the world is kept safe and brought to life in every person.”

“Nice speech boy, but I have no time to talk about self-respect or meanings of the world, all I want is to be more powerful, and if you are going to get in the way with that, I will kill you with my own hands!” He shouts.

Hankel stands there and thinks.

The mayor interrupts and throws his staff straight at Hankel.

He uses his favorite calculating tricks to escape and kick the mayor in the back.

The mayor winces but gets back up again.

The two keep trading hits and wincing.

They both realize there is no way out of the fight.

“I’m not surrendering,” Hankel says.

“I know what you mean. We will fight again later, don’t you worry, I’m coming to destroy you, you won’t get away so easily.” The mayor says.

Hankel uses his now-famous smile and runs east.

The mayor gets back to plotting as he returns to the town of Saint Trim.

Hankel approached his now dying car from the dangerous heat and sat in.

He turned on the A.C. and drove till he found a gas station.

A couple of nights passed, and he found himself on a highway with an accident on it.

It wasn’t any normal accident though…

Hankel looked at cars falling through roads and being destroyed with tons and tons of metal being obliterated.

Hankel didn’t see any bodies though, to his surprise.

He ignored the incident because he didn’t want to be in any kind of trouble and moved on.

But the farther he went on, the worse it got.

Trucks, buses, and other vehicles scattered the roads ahead, till finally, Hankel saw his dad in a wheelchair outside of a nearby hospital.

“Dad!” Hankel screamed.

His dad saw Hankel, rubbed his eyes, and realized that Hankel never died.

“Son!” He yelled.

“I couldn’t save Anden.” Hankel cried as he hugged his dad.

“It’s okay. Losses happen, we can’t control when they do though.” He tries to comfort Hankel.

“I couldn’t stop that evil mayor. Only two hours to see him!” Hankel talks in riddles.

“Hey, it’s okay.” Hankel’s father comforts him.

Hankel’s mind starts wandering for a minute and he feels a sudden urge to do something.

“Dad…”

“Yeah?”

“I need to go to Saint Trim, I have some unfinished business there.”

“Go ahead.”

“Thanks, I found a plan, and I need to bring it to life in action.” He smiles.

His dad smiles back as Hankel fills up his car with gas and starts driving away back to Saint Trim.

“Now let’s bring the true meaning of the world to action and stop the mayor before he can harm any more people.”

The engine stars and Hankel is off to make history that’s never been thought of before…
