Corruption Grows...
_____________________________________________________________________
Recap:
Previously on War for Peace, Nad and his new friend Ish were fighting some of the soldiers scouting in the woods. Meanwhile, at the village, a mysterious figure is menacingly walking toward the fort gates. As the supplies and troops near their destination, things look bad for the duo.

Back at the village, the mysterious figure approaches Chief E. with a straight smirk right on his face.
“Egebald, how I missed you for all these years. You banished me and did not listen to my advice, which caused you to make a grave mistake. And now you are paying the price for this.”-The figure says.
“Teged. You betrayed us. How can I believe your twisted words even if you are right? That great incident you created harmed everyone in our village.”-Chief E. replies.
“Well, I would like to fix my mistake. Behold, I have created the most powerful being in the realm. The Corrupted Beast. You will ride these and go to war on them. I heard of what had happened to Anion and Nad. You can fix it with this.”-The Great Destroyer replies.
‘I must take into account what had happened to our village… But how can I listen to that FOOL who betrayed us? Maybe I must listen to him.’-Chief E. thinks to himself.
The Corrupted Beast stood there, not attacking or harming a soul.
‘It looks like a troll that had a plague’-he thought again,
‘It feels like it is scared to move a muscle, what has that deceiver done now?’
Back in the woods, the forest fight continues...
Nad was falling to his doom when he woke up feeling the breeze by his face. The long fall ahead made him see and feel this. So he ran up and grabbed at the nearest branch and clung to it, his body aching, he made a sigh and called,
“Help”-Nad cried in a raspy voice, “please help..”-As he trailed off.
Just an arrow was enough to tire him, but to get kicked and hang off a cliff was bound to be terrible.
Ish looked down the cliff and saw nothing in sight.
“Go get ‘em, girl! -She said to her pet.
The beast slowly lunged and grabbed the soldiers with vines.
They grunted and grimaced but it was no use.
Storm swept under, and soared down and down until he smelled… Nad!
Nad was about to plummet to his foretold end, as Storm dove towards Nad making sure that the owner was safe.
Storm utilized his training to defeat and end the men’s unnecessary painful battle.
The elites had tried to stop Storm’s rampage, but it wasn’t enough.
The remaining 4 lunged towards Storm.
Storm swirled and used his electrifying wings to shock a soldier.
Another warrior threw his spear, and Storm grabbed it and kicked him down, stabbing him in the chest. (That must have hurt…)
He shouted out a battle cry! Now that more men were arriving,
Two more Inferno’s rushed to aid Storm in his battle.
One guarded Nad, and the other, Storm.
As the now 8 elites sprinted to the Inferno’s, taking down one of them, teaming up and tricking the beasts to look somewhere else. However, Storm knew these tricks and chewed at their armor making them slightly frightened of the overgrown amphibians.
Storm ducked and took off in the sky, then twirled back down making a garden of lightning around him. As all the guards were electrocuted, Ish jumped onto her beast and fled with Nad.
Storm had just now realized that this was time to retreat. So he flew tailing Ish’s beast back to her village…
As they arrived at the distant village, The Totem People greeted the beasts and the outsider (Nad) and spoke.
“Ish. Why is “this fellow” here?”-A village wizard said as he prodded Nad with his long gray mossy torn-up stick.
“His name is Nad and he ran away from the Village Ten.”-Ish replied with haste.
“Interesting. So your friend lived in a terrible ecosystem. They hunted Flypers far and wide and did not care for the terrified “beasts” as they call it. We call them Flypers. The most powerful living beings in our universe. The protectors of light.”-The village wizard told with a story-telling voice.
As Nad awakened his eyes, he saw beasts of all kinds from ice-cold, to molten hot, to just normal beasts.
“Wow”-Nad gasped in wonder,
“There are beasts of all kinds!”-Nadian whispered as he looked around.
The Totem People had a small village with shacks green and lush like the forest itself and big houses with water. The Flypers ate and slept there and it had no scratch marks.
There were flowers of all kinds and markets with all types of natural forest food, to just wooden trinkets.
“Would you like to hear of an old tale we tell to our children? We like to call it The Journey of Q’elta.”-The totem wizard asks.
“Yes. I would love to hear about this story.”-Nad responds softly still looking in awe around the village.
“Well, let us begin...”-The wizard states
Meanwhile…
The Great Destroyer stood still of shock. He couldn’t believe what Chief E. had done. Chief E. had accepted the offer to welcome the Corrupted Beasts to their army.
“Thank you. We were hoping you would accept. We wish to rid this world of our unwanted guests that keep roaming into the land of humans.”-The Great Destroyer thanks, Chief E.
“My pleasure. But if you are up to ANYTHING harmful, we will banish you not just from this realm, but this world. Thus bringing you to The Underworld.”-Chief E. states with worry and seriousness.
“I understand Chief Egebald. We will make sure that you won’t live to see the day that this happens.”-The Great Destroyer smirks lightly.
General Majowen, Chief E., and Teged rode onto the beasts into the distance.
Anion arrives closer to the village, and at last, he finds out that this will be the beginning of the real war.
As Nad with Ish swoops in to save him, knocking out some soldiers, they find out that the war is confirmed...

The Quest For The Power of Q’elta
_____________________________________________________________________
Recap:
Previously on War for Peace,
The Great Destroyer presents The Corrupted Beasts to The Village Ten as Nad and Ish finish off the battle with the village elites. Ish and Nad make their way to the village of The Totem People, and after listening to the story of The Power of Q’elta, they go to find Anion and realize that the upcoming war is no longer upcoming...
_____________________________________________________________________
Nad, Ish, and Anion arrive at the village of The Totem People.
“How did you know where I was Nad?”
“And who is this person here?”-Anion asks with the hope of an immediate response to his queries.
“Don’t worry friend. All your questions will be answered.”-Nad explains.
As Nad explains to Anion all his answers, Ish runs over to the village wizard with questions of her own.
“Is the tale you told Nad true? If so, I would like to know where this cave is.”-Ish states with doubt but also adventure baked in.
“Yes. The Journey of Q’elta is a true story. I just so happen to know the whereabouts of this cave. Ironically for you and your new friends, there are actually three slots to obtain this power.”-The Village Wizard tells Ish in his story-telling voice.
Ish smiles and asks for a map. The Wizard reaches out into his pocket and pulls out a parchment of paper.
‘This may sidetrack Nad’s plans for the war, but we must obtain this power to become even stronger.’-Ish thinks to herself.
“We’re going to go to the cave of Q’elta.”-Ish states fearfully after pacing around the well.
“WHAT!”-Nad screams.
“Yes! I can finally document the amazing discovery. We could have unthinkable powers. We can finally stop the war before it gets too bad!”-Anion shouts out.
“This is a good thing Ish. Thank you. You are the best!”-Nad shouts out.
Ish smiles.
“Your welcome.”
Nad, Anion, and Ish set out to find the cave.
“It says It’s right around the castle back-door entrance…”-Anion reads the map stating the directions.
Nad spots a deep hole in the grass extending from 800 feet up the surface, to -956 feet under the surface.
“Oh wow. This thing is colossal!”-Nad mumbles in awe.
“Come on. Let’s dig deeper in.”-Ish orders with delight.
“Are you sure we can go down there safely without a climbing hook, which is VERY necessary for going in a cave one-thousandth the size of this one?”-Anion worriedly states losing breath with every word.
“No. We can do without those man-made materials. I think we can be daring enough to try.”-Nad states trying to act like a know-it-all hero.
Nad and Ish parkour down the walls making it down the hole in about two minutes.
“You can go without me. I don’t think I’m needed here.”-Anion says with fear.
“I’m sure you can come, Anion. We don’t have much time to waste.”-Nad insists.
“Fine. I’m coming.”-Anion grumbles.
Anion joins them as they start to explore the depths of the cave. But they must be extra cautious, as there are traps set out for them.
Nad steps on a pressure plate and screams.
“Okay. Any plans for how to avoid these annoying traps.”-Nad grumbles with an arrow stuck to his knee.
“Nope.”-Ish states.
Nad ignores them and backflips his way through the traps. Anion and Ish follow his method realizing that it was an idea worth noting.
The trio arrives nearing the end finding the greatest artifacts of all time. The stones of Q’elta.
“Whoa.”-Nad whispers.
“My stone must be the yellow one.”-Ish says, eyeing the stone.
“Then that means, mine is the blue, and Nad’s is the red.”-Anion tells them.
As they pick up the stones and obtain their powers, the cave shakes and grumbles.
“Really? Classic traps. Let’s get out of here right this second!”-Nad shouts.
The trio speeds through the hallways learning to embrace their stones. But not how they should be?
Nad ducks down trying to escape, but he can’t deactivate his cheetah fast legs.
Anion was using portals uncontrollably
And Ish was... Flying!
The doors shut closed.
“This might be the end. I just wanted to say, you're the greatest friend I’ve ever had Nad.”-Anion cries out.
“You too, Anion!”-Nad also cries out as well.
Ish suddenly summons a forcefield covering the three of them.
“Wow. I wonder how I did that?”-Ish said in an awed tone.
The forcefield soon breaks, and the cave collapses.
“I couldn’t hold it.”-Ish worriedly states with great lengths of fear.
“Well. This is the end.” “Goodbye world. Goodbye Nad. Goodbye Ish. Goodbye to my priceless blanket my dad gave me when I was two.”-Anion cries.
“Ha.”-Nad laughs. “Yeah. He has a point. But I had no idea he STILL cuddles with that blanket.”
“Good times. Even though I’ve known you for just one day, this one day has been the most amazing day of my life, Nad. Thank you for that.”-Ish laughs too now glowing.
Nad smiles.
“Just being me.”
Storm, Wave, and Ish’s Flyper arrive with the village wizard, which broke down the impenetrable barrier that had been enclosing them.
“Thank you. It means a lot that you helped us.”-Nad thanks the wizard exhaustedly.
“Yes, yes. It was your Flypers that did it all. They sensed you were in danger so the reptiles flew straight to the village and warned me of the incoming danger.”-The Wizard congratulates the pets.
“Wave! You’re back! Oh, how I’ve missed you since we got separated when General Majowen captured us.”-Anion says with happy tears in his eyes.
The Flypers, the trio, and the wizard flew back out to the village.
When they arrived, they were met with destruction and doom.
The Totem Village was aflame.
“The wrath of The Great Destroyer and his Corrupted Beasts from The Village Ten has arrived. We are definitely not in a good place now.”-Ish says softly feeling depressed as her home village had just burned down.
“It may have been too early to celebrate, as the war has just begun…”-Nad seriously states.
