The Pig Who Was a Wizard

Chapter 1: Me

Hi! This is my diary. I’m writing in this because a life changing event happened. If you wanna know, I wrote every little detail. Well, maybe not EVERY detail. But just read it.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Wip! Yeah, you heard it. W-I-P. You’ll know why later.

I have some friends, too. Nee-Haw, Bess, and Doodle Doo. Did you think I was all alone?...

Oh. You want to hear the life-changing story. Well, you’re in luck because I’m just getting to that part!

So, I’m on Farmer Tom’s farm. It’s 3:00 AM, and Tom is sleeping, but Doodle Doo is still awake. Oh, by the way, he’s a chicken. And he keeps whispering to me.

“Psst. Wip.” Doodle Doo whispered.

“Go to sleep.” I mumbled.

“But…what’s that, Wip?” D.D. asked.

I wanted to look, but I was way too tired. But I looked for just a second, and my eyes grew wider. It was a blinking light.

Nee-Haw and Bess woke up. But for some strange reason, it didn’t lure them in. Only I followed the light. It said:

“Wip. You are the chosen wizard. You have unbelievable powers you do not know yet. Do you wonder why your name is Wip? It’s a combination of “pig” and “wizard.” It might not seem truthful, but you have to trust me. You will face challenges on your way to your destiny. Luckily, you have spells within you that will help you. I will give you this cool hat. Once you have proven yourself, I will come back. You… must… find… your...”

I blinked, and he was gone.

Chapter 2: Breakout

I had a million questions. How can a light talk? How does he know that this hat on my head is cool? And since when did I have a destiny?

But I realized what he meant. If I want to be a true wizard, then I have to prove it. So first, I need a plan to get out of this farm.

And I have to do this fast, because this hat is agreeably cool.
