Hello guys, remeber me? Long time. But aways, I made a good'ol book. And I really like it.
Those out there that say "Wait, how about your other book in the book Mas-up long ago?" Well, I'm always here to awswer you're questions. So why that is, it's because I lost motivation to really do the book. And, I looked at other people's books, and I'm like WOW! They got way better book than me. And so, yeah. And I put so much work for you guys. :) I Hope you like it! Reminder: I kind-of messsed up with the "Said" sayings so, please read that part in a way that is not so confusing. Second one, when I searched Ruby Rose to see if the idea of the book is taken, I saw a model that is named Ruby Rose. So I DID not do it based on the model. Thank you! (Also it's a bit long.)
Ruby Rose And The Darkest Mysteries
Chapter 1
One sunny day, Ruby Rose woke up out of her bed. Her alarm clock rang.
“Aww, this early on a weekend? Oh well, time to get to work.”
She went to the closet, picked her IHop clothes and went to the bathroom to change her clothes.
When she finished, she opened the bathroom door and walked down-stairs.
While Ruby walked down stairs she heard her mom scream!
“AHHHHH-” Her scream stopped.
Ruby heard the sound where it came from, it was from the basement!
She put on her shoes and headed down in the basement, frightened if her mom was ok.
She had no dad of hers because they got into a divorse, this made her even more uncomfortable.
She turned on the lights.
When she got down to the basement she found her mom DEAD on the
basement floor.
She bursted into tears, crying on her mom’s dead body.
“I-Its my fault if I didn't get here late, mother wouldn't be dead,” Ruby said to herself.
But, then Ruby saw a strange man was walking out of the back door with a knife tasting the blood off of it.
“Hey! What do you think you're doing to my mom! You monster!” Ruby yelled.
“I was killing her, and I would be even more happy if I would do it to you too since you showed up,” The strange man said.
T-That voice, it's so familiar…
But, she didn’t get her thoughts on reality.
She quickly grabbed her phone from her pocket and called 911.
“911 whats your emergency?”
“Help!! There is a strange man in my house and he KILLED my mother!!!! My address number is 631 Maple Street Avenue!! And he is quickly getting away!”
Right when she said the problem to the officer, she heard the door open and close.
But, she ignored it because she was so focused on her mother dead right in front of her eyes. “Ok calm down and is your father there?!” The police replied on his phone.
“No, he is not,” She lied.
“Then we will be coming right away! But, may I ask why your father is not there?”
“Personal reasons..”
“Oh okay I get it, anyways where are you in your house?”
“Ba-”
The power went down and the lights turned off.
“Hello?”
No one replied.
“Okay, umm I-” She stopped and remembered something.
“Oh god- work.”
She panicked, and didn't think about ideas to solve this problem.
Then, she heard a voice- a very soft one.
“My dear child, don’t worry too much, there is always a solution to a problem. Now go outside and use my car to go to work. I used my magic to put energy in the car you’re going to use.” The mysterious person said.
“Wait, MOM?!”
“Yes my dearest child.” Said mom.
“B-But how I thought you were dead…”
“Well, I am dead, just God gave me one chance to speak to you,”
“I-It’s my fault that you are dead, If I came here earlier you wouldn't b-”
“Honey it wasn't your fault that I am dead.”
“It isn’t?” Ruby asked her mother.
“Of course, it’s my routine to go into the basement to clean and make sure that it's fresh for guests.”
“Oh, I never knew mother,”
“Well, know you know!”
Her mom chuckled.
“But, before you go, can you find a way to show yourself?” Ruby asked sadly with a small tear on her face.
She quickly rubbed it off so her mother didn’t see her crying.
“I’m afraid that can’t be done- no angel or demon can show themselves to people, not even their own child.”
“Why though?” Ruby asked.
“There is an explanation but I cannot tell you Ruby.”
“But-”
Her mom interrupted.
“Sorry Ruby, my time is up. I have to go.”
“Mom… I can’t lose you too! First dad, then you! Please don’t go, all I had is you! This was barely any time!”
“I’m very, very sorry I wish I could stay but, I cannot control rules.”
Then Ruby felt water landing on her head, lots of them in fact.
“Mom, are you crying?” Ruby asked.
“Yes honey, I couldn't resist it. If a mother didn’t cry in this situation they would be a very bad mother,”
“God promised me. But two more things before I go, do not ever ever ever tell other people that I got to talk with you, even if they force you. And my body will disappear when I leave. But, now this is where we say our goodbyes.”
“Okay, goodbye mother.” Ruby said with tears all over her face.
Then she heard a swoosh of mother’s ghost, and like she said her body disappeared.
She headed up-stairs from the basement sadly, and opened the door.
At this point she didn’t care if her house got dirty.
So she walked on the hardwood floor with shoes on.
Then she went into the kitchen to get her mom’s car keys.
When she got the car keys, she headed to the front door and opened it.
Then she locked the door behind her.
With the car keys, she pressed the -OPEN DOOR- button and the car beeped.
She ran to the car and put the keys into the -START ENGINE- area to put your key into.
Then she started driving off the driveway.
When she got out of the neighborhood, she drove on the road, and then the highway.
When Ruby finally got to the IHop place, she drove to the parking lot and parked.
Then she got out of the car in a rush.
She ran to the front door and opened it.
There were so many customers in seats waiting for food.
“Miss Rose, may I speak to you in my office?” Said her boss.
“Yes boss.”
They both got into her boss's office, and her boss closed the door and yelled,
“You are SO late Ruby! ALL of the customers are waiting for food and we don’t have highly advanced waiters, so they keep tripping and dropping food! You're the only good waiter!”
“I’m sorry boss, my mother died this morning and I had to make a grave for her.” She lied.
She couldn't tell him about the ‘Mom heaven talk.’
“Oh, I’m very sorry for your loss. You may go to work now.”
“Thank you sir, I hope you have a great day!”
“You too.”
So, she opened the door and left the office, and closed the door behind her so her boss could have his alone time.
“Bingo!” Ruby said softly to herself.
Then she went to the kitchen and grabbed the food, and then the paper that had the person’s name on it of whoever ordered it.
“It’s nice to see you again Ruby, we were worried.” Said one chef when he was flipping the pancakes.
“You shouldn't be, I was just in a rush that's all.” She replied.
“Oh, well too late now to be notified,”
They both laughed.
“Welp, I have to go serve these waffles, I’ll be back for the next batch.”
“Of course.”
When she went to the table that had the name on the paper, she noticed that the family that she had to serve was not very polite and only cared about small things.
“Hey, mom?” Said the little boy.
“Yes Jake?” Said his mom.
“Why isn't the waiter tripping and falling?”
“WHAT!? THE WAITER IS NOT TRIPPING AND FALLING?”
“Yeah,” Said the boy.
“Every other waiter trips and falls when they try to serve our food, but this one is not!”
“So, what's the problem with that?” Ruby asked.
“Well when they trip they apologize and give us 50$ bill,” Said the selfish mom.
“Well, I need to tell you something that is true. Okay? So listen. 1st I am a highly advanced waiter. 2nd, I’m not going to give you money if I trip and fall. And lastly you are not going to ruin my career.” Ruby said with confidence.
“Ugh! May I speak to your boss? I bet he’ll believe me.”Asked selfish mom.
“Okay, but he’ll never believe you.”
So Ruby went to her boss’s office, and knocked on the door.
“Come in,” Said her boss.
Ruby opened the door.
“Yes? What do you need? I’m very busy.” He asked.
“Sorry sir, a customer wants to see you.”
“Oh okay, please show me where they are,”
“Yes sir. But, watch out, their mother is very mean. I call her the ‘Selfish mom.’ ”
“Miss Rose, you cannot say that about other customers! But, I’ll check it out anyways.”
“Thank you boss.”
“No problem.”
So Ruby opened the door and went to the table where the ‘Selfish mom’ was.
“Oh, you must be the manager?” Said the mom.
“Yes, but you can call me Adam.” Said Ruby’s boss.
“Okay, anyways we have a big problem about this waiter right behind you,”
“And what about her?” Adam asked.
The selfish mom had to lie because if she told Adam about the 50$ she would get punished from IHop, and she wouldn't get the discounts to get pancakes or waffles.
“She was yelling at me and threatening me to go!” The selfish mom said.
“Well, we don’t know if that is true ma’am- Ruby is very nice to people, she would never!” Adam argued.
“Well she did!” The selfish mom argued back.
Then for about a minute they kept arguing, but then Ruby had an idea!
“How about we check the camera’s huh? Then we’ll see who’s lying.” Ruby said.
“Why, that's a great idea!” Said Adam.
“N-No need for that- w-we know that-that waiter is lying,” She said stuttering.
“Not yet,” Adam said wisely, knowing the customer already lost the argument.
“I-I uhh got to go!” The mother said.
“Oh, no this is only 5 minutes come join us or you’ll be punished.” Adam said.
The ‘Selfish mom’ had no choice but to come, she will get punished either way.
“O-Okay, b-but you know camera’s sometimes can be lying,”
“No, they never be there is a security guard to make sure no one comes in. And remember the security guard has a gun, so you better not make him mad or else, you know what.”
“Y-Yes sir.”
When they got to the camera room Adam politely asked if they could come in.
Then Adam whispered something else to the security guard that no one could hear.
“Well, -said Adam- “Let’s just say someone is going to be alive and someone is not. Remember that.”
“Yes sir.” Said Ruby with confidence.
“Y-Yes sir. But, Ada- I mean sir, why does someone have to be d-dead?” Said the mom stuttering.
“Well I just grew up like that, but only for you I’ll lower down the rules. I will sue you if you're lying, and I’ll fire the waiter, Ruby if she is lying. If that's fine with you.”
“Oh, yes thank you sir Adam.”
“Ooh~ I like that name,” Adam said happily.
“Yeah, totally.” Ruby said while rolling her eyes.
“Okay- anyways let’s see who’s lying and who’s not.”
“Of course sir.” Ruby said.
So Adam opened the door, they all went in.
“Alright, we're in,” Adam said happily.
“I’m so excited to see who’s lying!”
“Yeah, me too,” Ruby said.
“Ok, get in your seats and I’ll rewind.”
So, he did- and it rewinded.
-REWINDED-
“Hey, mom?” Said the little boy.
I bet he’ll believe me.”Asked the selfish mom.
“Okay, but he’ll never believe you.”
Then, Adam turned the rewind tape off.
“I see, you were lying ma’am,” Adam said.
“Yes, yes I was. But, I rue (Rue means regretting/regret) the decision- I had a bad part inside me.”
“Very well, you may go now. Also, don’t think that I forgot that you are punished.
“Yes sir. But, really how long will that be? If I could ask.”
“Oh, a month or a year,”
“Ok- that breaks it down, but- which one?”
“Well, since you were lying- Ruby will pick what’s best for you.”
“Yes sir.”
“Ok,” Ruby said.
“Hmm, I really don’t know. But, since you apologized you will be punished for a month.”
“Very well Ruby. Ma’am, you are punished for a month,”
“Of course sir, I deserved that for being rude to the waiter. Hopefully we could be friends?”
“Sure! Wha- Wait. I never got your name. Can you tell me please?”
“Oh, I forgot that silly me! My name is Annabelle.”
“Wow! Nice name.”
“Why, thank you,”
“I think your name is Ruby, right?”
“Yup- that's me.”
“Alright! You also have a very pretty name!”
“Thank you!”
“Before I leave, can I have your contact number? To like to do calls and stuff? Annabelle said.
“Sure! My phone number is ********.”
“Ok… Alright got it,”
“Mine is *******.”
“Awesome! Let me type it in,”
“And done!”
“Great.”
Right when Annabelle was going to leave Ruby said,
“Oh, yeah I forgot to tell you it shows up as your phone number, so I can re-type the text but keep your number in additional details.”
“Ya, you can do it but why do you need me?”
“Well- I kind-of don’t know how to spell your name- no offence,”
“Oh, don’t be- a lot of people ask the very same question to me,”
“Oh. Ok. Alrightly.”
“A-n-n-a-b-e-l-l-e. That's how you spell my name.” She said in a rush.
“Ok, can you say that slower?”
“Sure, first letter A.”
“Got it.”
“Then, two N’s.”
“Ok, one second,... ok done,”
“Then another A,”
“Ok… all good,”
“Then b-e-l-l-e,”
“What did you even say? Go slower!”
“Alright, alright. Then a B,”
“Ok, I already wrote that on.”
“Good. Then an E and two LL’s,”
“Ok, now that's progress, got it.”
“The last letter is E again.”
“Ok, I got it!”
“Ok good. Let me type your name in the name box too.”
So Annabelle typed it in, as a normal friend would do.
“Ok Ruby, it’s my time to leave, before I get punished for an even longer time.”
“Right, buh-bye!”
“Bye! I’ll see you in a month,”
“You too!”
“Bye Annabelle.” Adam replied.
So she went out of the room and went out the door, and drove off.
-IN ANNABELLE’S CAR-
She grabbed her phone and called someone.
“Hello Annabelle,”
