Chapter 1: Araban...

In the afternoon I was near Araban, but I had to take a break. By the end of the day, I made it to Araban. It looked so cool, there were large skyscrapers everywhere you went! But, the school popped out of everything, it was wide and large and it was tall. It looked modern even though this was one of the rustic castles built in the early 1200s.

“Wow, this place looks so cool!” I said to another student.

“I know it is my first time here and I think I will love it,” he said. I and he circled the whole school until the principal told them to stay in line. We shared names and his name was Jamall.

“What type of name is that? Jamall… You have the weirdest parents.” said another kid.

“Shut up, it is a normal American name,” I said to him.

“Okay chill, I will leave now…” he said. The bully left while I and Jamall went inside to the main hall. We put our bags into our bedrooms because this is where we will stay for the next year. Jamall and I got lucky because our bedrooms were just next door.

“What is your first class tomorrow?” Jamall asked.

“Mine is Potions, what about you?” I asked.

“Mine is Dueling,” he said.

“Well, I guess we don’t have the same schedule…” I said sadly.

“At least we can see each other after class,” he said. I agreed with him and went to sleep.

“Good night,” I said. We both went to sleep while the teachers thought of what they were going to teach tomorrow.

I woke up the next morning feeling good as new and ready for potions class. I got ready ate breakfast in the cafeteria and headed to Potions.

“I hope this will be fun…” I said to myself. I thought I hope this is more fun than playing with Fat Rat, all she does is lay around and eat cheese all day. Such a wimp she is…

“Finally that took ages, Potions class is in this bunker I guess…” I thought. I got to potions class and the first thing I see is Mr. Breachman jumping on his desk, excited for the first day.

“Welcome in, ignore what I was doing earlier…” He said.

“I don’t wanna think about it, it is horrific and weird…” I told him. All I could think about was that horrific thing for the rest of the class. The class was pretty funny because Carlson made a potion that made his nose swell, it was as big as a watermelon. The teacher, Mr. Breachman even giggled a bit.

“It’s not funny…” Carlson said angrily. But still, the whole class laughed and laughed until Mr. Breacman said that this was foolish and we should stop this instant! That was the end of Potions class, but Carlson’s nose was still BIG…

“Did you see Carlson’s nose just earlier?” I asked Jamall.

“Yeah, it’s so big, an astronaut from outer space can see it!” he said. We were good friends. We talked for a while and then we headed to our next classes. I could tell the teacher teaching Herbivory was one of the meanest teachers. I DID NOT like him...
