Prologue

There were always differences between the cats and the dogs. Cats were magic, while dogs were vicious beasts. (In the eyes of the cats.)The cats and dogs were tricked by a mysterious species. Cats and dogs were mortal enemies easily targeting the other. So, it made it easier for the leader of the mysterious species, The Florpeds’ King Motisko to take charge.

The Florpeds despised the human race and wanted them gone but, they had a problem, the cats and dogs are protecting them!

The dogs always had a problem with the cats but when it came to humans they had to agree on protecting them. They both loved humans and had to protect them. Cats and dogs were very different. They hated each other because they were completely different. Cats have claws and dogs have nails. Cats are shy but dogs are not. What made dogs hate the cats the most is that they were jealous of the cat’s magic and what made the cats hate the dogs was because the dogs were trying to replace their powers with cooler gadgets.

The humans did not know that cats hate dogs though they thought dogs hated cats.

When the Flerpeds made the pets turn on each other humanity was destroyed. Humans’ guns and bombs were nothing compared to the Florpeds army.

They had advanced technology that only the dogs’ gadgets and the cats’ powers could beat.

The Florpeds could take out a tank with one of their weakest. The strongest could destroy the earth and bigger objects. Humans did not stand a chance against the Florpeds. Motisko plotted how to take out the human race, and he decided that he should make it look like the cats wiped out the human race from the dogs’ point of view, and in the cats’ point of view the dogs wiped out the human race. Florpeds planted an energy bomb in the Mariana Trench that disintegrated out the human race and made the dogs and cats fight, to dominate the planet for its rich resources.

Boom, Bam. That was the sound of the first battle.

Chapter I

The Past

The cats bravely fought the “evil” dogs.

“This war will be one to remember.” Tresslo, the war leader of the cats stated. “Unless of course, everyone dies,” he added, matter-of-factly.

Dogs barked and scurried to their bunkers.

“For a free meow,” said the war leader.

“FOR A FREE MEOW!!,” yelled the troops as they charged, striving for victory.

Lokas Taveen (lo-cuss tuh-veen) was a young cat. He was looking at the battle, hoping someday he might help stop this war.

Every cat was magic. They had powers. But Lokas had very minimal abilities. He had the blood of the fire category of cats. But what was special about him, was that he had the special blood of the subcategory of phoenix cats.

His powers hadn’t tapped in yet. His potential is great, but his determination is key. The only great thing he had, was the wings of a phoenix.

The war was beginning. The energy blasted and shook the ground around it. Florpeds were outside floating, watching the first battle take place. Cats flew above to the depths. Dogs stayed underground and awaited the sound of the bell to start the battle.

“These Florpeds better have not tricked us. They are very shady.” Arson, the dog war leader told them.

‘I urge humans to leave for the moon. The Florpeds watch. After they leave the Florpeds bring them back, saying that the air won’t be enough for them to breathe. They come back and brutally die to their doom just a little while later. We were devastated. We blamed the dogs. The dogs blamed us. Now, we will be fighting our first war.’ The Cat War Leader thinks to himself.

Onj Berno (On-jh Burn-oh) was another cat. He had the blood of earth breaker cats. Powers of his were to control rocks. And still is a great ally of Lokas. But what’s the story of how they met?

Let’s skip a little after the first battle, and we’ll come back to it later.

Onj walked across the devoured city, filled with darkness. All the civilization could talk about, was what was planned for the next battle, and when would it happen?

Onj tried his best to stay away and ignore them. But there wasn’t much time till the next battle, he knew.

Lokas flew up to the sky, fell, practicing a cool move while flying, and unexpectedly bumped into Onj.

“Oof, I’m so sorry!” Lokas replied.

“No matter. I’m an earth breaker cat. So, this is not anything much. Our bones are practically made of steel” He replied, with pride in his voice.

“What’s your name?” Lokas asked.

“Onj, Onj Berno”

“Oh, I’m Lokas Taveen” Lokas said.

“How can you fly? Only Phoenix Cats can do that!” Onj exclaimed, confused.

“I’m one of them,” Lokas said like he was a superhero.

Onj’s eyes were wideband to hear that truth.

“Wowowowowowowowow!,” He said gleaming in his eyes.

Lokas didn’t understand why Onj was just believing him, instead of saying “Yeah right.” Then he remembered that Onj is an earth breaker cat, so naturally, he isn't very smart.

Onj and Lokas took a walk.

“So.” “Uh. Want to see my secret house? I’ve been using it underground to hide from parents, who want me cooped up in their small little house for protection from the dogs. I just want to be a little free, so I hide from them.”

“Sure.” Lokas mumbles, unsure if Onj is trustable, although all cats should trust each other especially during a war.

Lokas and Onj approach a hard rock stone. Onj moves the giant boulder with his hands, without touching, and they go inside.

Woah Lokas thinks to himself.

DrawDragon’s note: I honestly think this is the best book we have made yet. It is very interesting, and may not seem that way to you yet because there is only one chapter so far. I didn't actually do much, except edit, change words, and make character names, which I guess is a big thing to do, so yeah.
