Chapter 7: Power
Fire picked up Water’s body and carried it away from the office. All the elves he passed stopped working and stared empathetically. They may have been sad, but still had good in their hearts.
Fire stumbled out the factory entrance, ashes pouring down from his eyes.
Suddenly, Fire stopped to look a stranger on the side of the field the factory was in. He looked depressed, just like the elves, with dirty and raggedy clothes, as well as messed up hair. He had big muscles and his hair was a beautiful shade of blonde, though.
“Hey, you look in bad shape,” Fire told the stranger.
“Yeah,” the Element said. “I’ve been like this for a while.”
“You look familiar…”
“Well, that’s because everyone knows me. Or at least who I used to be.”
“What’s your name?”
“Power.”
Fire gasped.
*********************************************************************
Power was once an almighty Element. He had giant muscles and luscious locks. Every young Element looked up to him. They all wanted to be heroes, just like him.
Wherever there was evil, there was Power to save the day. He would thrash his fists in his enemies’ faces and kick them onto the ground. He’d then finish them off with one last punch.
But one day, Power was defeating bad guys when Technology’s Mechanicals swung in and held him on the ground. Of course, the evil Technology then cracked his sapphire - the source of all of his strength and wits. However, he pushed through and was able to escape, but he was never the same. Now, Power was like this - sad, weak, and undetermined.

“Wow, I feel so bad,” said Fire empathetically after Power told him the story. “But I also feel so good! I get to meet the real Power! Oh wait, sorry.”
“It’s okay,” Power replied.
Instantaneously, Water came to. She looked around, and when she set her eyes upon Power, she was amazed. “Fire? Is that -” she asked. Fire nodded.
Water squealed. “Oh, I’m sorry, Mr. Power, but I’m just so excited to meet you! I’ve been practicing my ninjutsu lately, want to see?”
Power nodded and watched her perform some of her best skills. He was purely astounded by her level of experience. But this also reminded him of when he could do that, and returned to his sad state.
“Hey, Power, we need your help with something,” Fire said.
Power looked up.
“So, can you help us defeat this guy named Technology? He wants to - well, take everyone’s soul or something along those lines.”
“Well, I guess my gem is cracked, but there is still some strength in these babies.” He lifted his muscles. “Sure, I’ll do it.”
“Yes!” Fire exclaimed. “I can’t believe I get to work with the Power! Okay, well let’s do this!”
And as the sun rose high into the sky, Fire, Water, and Power knew their goal: stop Technology and save the world of Elements from his evil clutches.
Nice!
Awesome book man, I really enjoyed it!
